Short version. One link per partner or placement, a reward per counted completed sign-up, a budget you lock, and a live view both sides read.
Installs are cheap; sign-ups are what you want
App marketing has a vocabulary problem. Installs are counted by the store, attributed by tools built for ad networks, and cost a great deal for users who open the app once. The number the business cares about is the completed sign-up, the KYC, the first order, the first deposit. That is what a referral programme should reward, and what a creator should be paid for.
A creator with a finance channel can bring more real accounts in a week than a month of install ads, if the reward is stated and the count is honest.
One link for both stores, one result you define
A Shopmycode link sends iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to the Play Store, and can pass the creator's tag through so your own analytics see it too. Define the result as the event your app already fires (sign-up completed, KYC passed, first order) and have the app report it; the result is attributed to the link that brought the install.
You can run a stricter result for a higher reward, and a lighter one for a smaller reward, as separate offers. Creators pick what they can deliver.
The reward maths for apps
Reward plus 15% is your cost per counted result, from the locked budget. If a completed sign-up is worth ₹300 to you over the first year, a ₹80 reward (₹92 all-in) is an easy decision; if it is worth ₹3,000, you can afford to make creators genuinely want to work with you. The subscription is ₹4,999 + GST a year; there is no install fee and no charge for opens.
Because the budget is locked, a viral reel cannot overspend you. It can only use the budget faster, at which point the campaign pauses and you decide whether to add more.
Where to find the people who bring accounts
Finance YouTubers, campus groups, Telegram communities, regional-language Instagram pages. The ones who already explain apps to their audience convert best, because the audience arrives knowing what to do. Publish the offer, and let them take it; each creator sees their own opens by platform and city, and each sign-up as it is counted.
Regional language is the multiplier most app teams underuse. A creator explaining a payments app in Marathi or Tamil to an audience that has never seen it in their language brings sign-ups that complete, because the audience understood the steps. The live view shows the cities; the cities tell you which languages to invest in next.
Fraud, quality and reversals
Reward the step that costs a fraudster effort, not the install. If an account is later closed as fake or a first order is cancelled, reverse the result; the reward returns to the budget and the creator sees why. Most creators self-police once they know reversals are visible, because their standing with brands is worth more than a few false sign-ups.
