Links and tracking
Counted at the link. First-party. No third-party cookies.
Every Shopmycode link is a short, branded address that passes through us before it reaches the page — so it is counted whether or not the destination has anything installed. Third-party cookies are gone from every major browser; nothing here ever depended on them.
How a result is counted
The open
The link records the platform (WhatsApp, Instagram, a site…), device, city and language, and gives the person a first-party reference for that campaign.
The page
With one optional line of code on the brand's page, sign-ups and page views are tied to the reference. In Full view, pages and time are counted without installing anything on the site.
The order
On Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and other connected stores, the affiliate network echoes the order back against the link. Your own store can send a webhook.
The payout
Sign-up, install or order → the reward leaves the campaign budget and lands in the marketer's wallet, once, with a full trail.
What a link can do
Branded addresses
go.shopmycode.com/yourname — readable, memorable, one per channel or placement.
Rich previews
Title, description and image when the link is pasted in WhatsApp or Instagram; holders can personalise the text.
Phones to the right store
Android to the Play Store, iPhone to the App Store, everyone else to the web page — from the same link.
Expiry, caps, pause
Stop after a date or a number of opens; disable and re-enable a link without breaking it.
Forwarding estimate
Each preview fetch by a messaging app is roughly one paste; you see "forwarded about N times".
QR and offline
The same link as a QR code on a poster, a pack or a counter — same live numbers.
Privacy by construction
First-party only
Our own cookie on our own domain, no data brokers, no cross-site profiles.
Respects the person's choice
Global Privacy Control and opt-outs are honoured; visitors from the EU, UK and Switzerland are asked first.
GDPR, DPDP, CCPA
Rights requests with deadlines, data export, account closure that anonymises, a data processing addendum for brands.
Says what it cannot see
The checklist on every campaign lists what is missing — the snippet, a store connection, a page that will not frame — and how to fix it.
